History

Starting in 1989, Centennial submitted its first proposal for an IDIQ contract to the Department of Defense for work at the Pentagon. Centennial won the contract, and based on the high levels of customer satisfaction maintained for its clients, Centennial was awarded two additional contracts over the next year. In 1991, the senior executives of the firm, Bill Sweetser, PE. and Jack Waschitz, Vice President, bought out the previous owners, creating what is known today as Centennial Contractors Enterprises, Inc.

Centennial’s focus has become centered on Job Order and IDIQ contracts, now our principal lines of business. Over the past 20 years, Centennial has been awarded JOC, Design-Build and IDIQ contracts for which project orders totaling more than $2 billion. The individual project orders are valued as low as $32,000 to as high as $7,300,000.
