Local Staff to Take the Plunge
On January 30, 2010 Centennials Baltimore staff and some of their family members have committed to “get my plunge on” for the athletes of Special Olympics Maryland by taking a chilly dip into the Chesapeake Bay alongside about 10,000 other warm-hearted people.
No matter how cold it gets, cold is only temporary…the positive impact this will have on the lives of thousands of citizens with intellectual disabilities will last a lifetime.
The team has set a goal of raising $5,000 toward this worthy cause. If you can’t plunge but wish to support their cause, you can donate directly to the teams “Plunge Fund” at the link below.
Additionally pledges may be sent to the Special Olympics office at SOMD, 513 Progress Drive, Suite P, Linthicum, MD 21090. Please be sure to include “Centennial Contractors Glacial Express” on the memo line so that the staff will know where to credit the contribution. Thanks for your consideration!
