David Carrithers New Chair Elect of Center for Job Order Contractor Excellence
Vienna, VA –March 1, 2007–David Carrithers, vice president of marketing, Centennial Contractors Enterprises, has been made chair elect of the Center for Job Order Contracting Excellence (CJE).
Carrithers, known as a champion of new methods of building national awareness of Job Order Contracting (JOC), was elected on a multifaceted platform that promoted increased member involvement in CJE; increased outreach among general contractors' employees; improved membership value; and the formation of new CJE chapters.
Carrithers brings more than 20 years of change management, marketing and sales management experience to the office.
"The opportunity to help grow awareness, understanding and interest around the ideals of Job Order Contracting—cooperation, single-source solutions and performance-based construction "is exciting," Carrithers says. "There is a need within the facilities and larger infrastructure market segments for a relationship-focused, non-adversarial approach to building and environment improvement.
