| Scope: |
The 200 room Smith Hall Dorm renovation project consisted of two phases. The project was phased due to budget constraints. The first phase consisted of renovating the 1st and 2nd floors which included installing all new lighting fixtures in the individual dorm rooms, kitchen/laundry rooms, lounges, study rooms and community restrooms. All rooms were cleaned, prepped and painted including the corridors, lobbies and foyer ceilings. New solid wood doors and hardware were installed for each dorm room. Two sets of new aluminum storefront doors were installed. New coil units were installed in each dorm room above the ceiling; floor mounted units were installed in the foyer and in each community rooms.
The second phase (3rd floor) consisted of painting the dorm rooms, replacing the light fixtures and installing GFI receptacles over the vanities.
