Through their Job Order Contract, Montgomery County tasked Centennial with constructing a pedestrian walkway with architectural lighting and landscaping.
The project involved the removal of the existing concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter and portions of driveways as well as the removal of existing trees and shrubs.
Included in the project was the installation of a concrete paver sidewalk, curbs and gutters as well as “Greenscreen” panels and lighting. Working with the owner and the original design, Centennial was able to provide revised drawings and plans that gave the sidewalk a more “meandering” feeling.
